The Convert tool on the Inventory page allows us to create both bulk intermediate inventory (in grams) as well as pre-packaged items for retail sale (in units).

Let's begin! ✨
Go to Inventory > Overview where we will find the Convert button:
Part I: Convert Bulk Inventory
Select Bulk Inventory
Under "What are we making?" select a traceability type. Then, select your product name in the next field that appears
If you selected a Product Template, select your strain name
Type Inventory IDs or keywords into the search bar or filter by Type, Strain, or Room to locate your source inventory
Enter the amount to use from the source lot or check the checkbox to use the full quantity
Enter the total grams of the bulk inventory created (required) as well as a waste amount (optional)
Select a room other than Bulk Inventory if preferred (optional)
Click Preview Convert to review the convert details in the next window, then click Convert to finish!
Now we see our converted item below its parent lot on the Inventory Overview:
Part II: Convert Pre-Packaged Inventory
Let's say our new bulk material is tested and ready for packaging for retail into a number of units with a package size:
Select Pre-packaged items
Under "What are we making?" select a traceability type. Then, select your product name in the next box that appears which will define the package size
If you selected a Product Template, select your strain name
Enter the number of units you will create of this package size
Type Inventory IDs or keywords into the search bar or filter by Type, Strain, or Room to locate your source inventory
Enter the number of grams of bulk inventory being used to create your specified units
Select a room other than Bulk Inventory if preferred (optional)
Click Preview Convert to review the convert details in the next window, then click Convert to finish!
Part III: Re-package
Let's say we have 10 Flower Jars of Usable Marijuana holding 14g each, but we want to re-package this flower into 140 pre-rolls at 1g each
In Convert, we will select our new 1g pre-roll product and check the Re-package checkbox under the search bar to see our 10 Flower Jars as a source option:

Don't see your product or strain name listed? Add new ones at these steps without leaving the Convert page:
Keep QA Results
If your end-product should keep the same QA results as the source lot, the "Does not require additional QA testing" box should be checked:
