Create Attributes to assign to Products if a product comes in multiple variations. Attributes help by defining and organizing your different products and inventory, grouping product information for flexible reporting, and labeling. Attributes are a GrowFlow-specific feature to help streamline your workflows and are not reported to BioTrack, CCRS, or Metrc.
Create, Edit, & Delete Attributes
Attributes are found via Admin > Products in the Attributes tab.
Create a new Attribute by clicking ➕ Add New Attribute.
Enter the following information, then click save:
Term Name: Enter a unique name for the Attribute
Order: Enter a number 1-3, in which the Attribute should displayed in the list. Only three Attributes can be created per account.
Description: A note describing what the Attribute is
Clicking cancel before the Attribute is created will undo the creation of the Attribute.
Click ➕ (#) in the Terms column to expand and create the Terms that belong to each Attribute.
Once an Attribute is created, click ➕ Add Attribute Term to create a new Term for an individual Attribute. Enter the term name, order number, and description, then click save. Each Attribute can consist of as many Terms as needed.
Click edit on an existing Attribute or Term to edit any field or click del to delete an Attribute or Term from your account. When editing, click save to save the changes.
Once an Attribute and its Terms are created, it will be available for selection when creating and editing Products and Product Templates under the Options column. Click into an Attributes field to pull up the drop-down list of available Terms to select from or start typing the specific Term name.
Note: The Attributes fields are located lower in the Edit Products window when editing a Product or Product Template's Attribute.
Labeling
Add an Attribute dynamic field on your labels in the V2 Label Editor to include a product's Attribute Term when labeling.
Attribute dynamic fields are specific to the name given to each Attribute in your account. The dynamic field starts with "Attribute", then follows a period, then follows the name of your Attribute, with only the first letters capitalized.
{{Attribute.Insertattributename}}
Example:
For an Attribute named "Flavor", the dynamic field would be {{Attribute.Flavor}}
For an Attribute named "Flavor Profile", the dynamic field would be {{Attribute.Flavorprofile}}
