Marketplace: Multiple Stores Feature

Create multiple stores on Marketplace

Written by Madie

Create multiple stores on Marketplace and then determine which buyers have access to each store. This feature is most beneficial for wholesalers who:

  • Sell directly to retailers

  • Sell bulk products to manufacturers/processors

  • Sell certain products or brands to a different group of buyers

  • Sell certain products exclusively to select buyers

To create multiple stores on Marketplace

1. Select Marketplace to edit your store

2. Navigate to the Settings tab

3. Each of your stores is available to select from in the drop-down under Now Showing

4. Click Create New Store to set up more stores

5. Select a Store Type for Buyers to see each store: The default setting is Open, which allows all buyers in the Marketplace – Retail, Producer, or Processor – to instantly see and buy from your store.

Note: If you want to keep your generic wholesale prices private, choose Needs Approval or Private.

To learn more about Store Types see Marketplace: Store Types.

6. Your stores will be available in the Marketplace depending on your store type!

Note: When using the Needs Approval setting, pay close attention to the License Type column on your Buyer Access page. This helps you accurately identify the buyer's business type (Retailer, Processor, etc.) and ensure they have access to the appropriate store. For example, if you have separate stores for Retailers and Processors, this prevents you from accidentally granting Retailers access to a Processor-specific store.
