Retail: Leafly Integration

How to set up your Leafly integration for live menus and start receiving instant consumer orders

Written by Ryker Daniel

Creating a new menu

1. Navigate to Settings.

2. Click on Menus.

3. Click the Green + sign in the top-right corner of the page to create a new menu.

4. When the pop‑up dialog box appears, enter a name for your menu (for example, “Leafly”).

5. Choose Leafly as the Menu Type.

NOTE: Keep the Published switch off until you are ready to make your menu live!

Leafly does not support preorders at this time.

Adding Menu Groups

Next, begin building your menu by adding Menu Groups. Menu Groups use filters to link your GrowFlow products to Menu Group types. All active packages will appear on the menu until Menu Groups are set up with rules restricting which packages are available.

For a more in‑depth look at our recommendations for Menu Groups, see Setting up Menu Groups.

1. From the drop‑down list, select a Leafly Menu Category. This determines the category in Leafly where the products in this group will populate.

2. The Display Product As setting determines how products are named based on the custom attributes you select from your GrowFlow product template. In this example, the naming convention chosen is Product Name.

3. The Filters setting determines which products are visible in your store. Filters allow you to display inventory based on custom attributes. For example, in the Pre‑Roll menu category shown above, the filter is set to include products with the product category of prerolls.

4. To add more filters to a menu category, click Add Filter. This allows you to refine product visibility by applying additional custom attributes to your inventory.

5. To add more Menu Groups, click the Add Menu Group button located in the bottom left‑hand corner of the screen.

6. When you are finished building your Menu Groups, click Preview to review your work and confirm how the menu will appear to customers.

NOTE: Only products with active inventory will show on your menu preview.

Publishing

Once you are done adding and configuring your Menu Groups, you will move to link your menu to your Leafly account and publish it.

To publish your menu:

1. Enter the API key provided by your Leafly account manager. Once entered, click Test Leafly Connection to verify that the link was successful.

2. Flip on the Published switch. Your menu must be published in order for the Leafly team to complete the configuration.

3. Scroll down and click Save & Close.

NOTE: Work with your Leafly account manager to set up and manage content for your live menu.
