Target Your Marketing with the Consumers List
Overview
Want to send the right message to the right customers? The Consumers List in Retail Insights V3 helps you create targeted marketing campaigns by giving you detailed information about your customers and their buying habits.
Accessing the Consumers List
Log in to your Retail Insights V3 dashboard.
Locate and select the "Consumers List" report. (You might find it under a "Reports" or "Customers" section.)
Filtering Your Customer Base
The Consumers List gives you lots of ways to find exactly the customers you want to reach. You can filter by:
Demographics: Age, generation (like Baby Boomers or Millennials)
Purchase History: How many times they've shopped with you, how long it's been since their last purchase, what they usually buy
Contact Information: Whether they have an email address, phone number, or mailing address
Customer Flags: If they're a senior, veteran, or have tax-exempt status
Consent: If they've agreed to receive marketing messages by email or SMS
Using the Filters
In the Consumers List report, you'll see a list of filters.
Choose the filter you want to use and select the options that fit your target audience.
Click "Apply" to see your filtered customer list.
Key Metrics
At the top of the Consumers List, you'll see helpful information about your filtered list, including:
Total Consumers: The total number of customers in your filtered list.
Email Count: How many customers have valid email addresses.
Phone Count: How many customers have phone numbers.
Address Count: How many customers have complete mailing addresses.
Exporting Your List
Once you've got the customer list you want, choose how you want to use it:
Mailing List: For sending postcards or letters.
Email List: For email campaigns.
Phone List: For SMS campaigns.
Click "Export to CSV" to download a file with your customer data.
Important Notes
You can only export up to 100,000 customers at a time. If your list is bigger than that, you'll need to create multiple exports.
