Introducing Insights v3, our new and improved data analytics and visualization solution tailored for GrowFlow Retail. Think of it as the perfect companion to your GrowFlow Retail reports, giving you even more power to dive into and make sense of your data.

With the launch of Insights v3, we’ve made it even better by embedding it directly into GrowFlow Retail. Now, there's no need to log in with your email each time you access it. Plus, you get enhanced control over user permissions, making it easier to manage who sees what. Enjoy a seamless and powerful data experience with Insights!

How do you use it?

Permissions for Insights

First, let's cover which users can access Insights v3.

  • Org Admins Users

    • Automatically have access to Insights, to all reports in Insights, and access to data for all stores in the organization

  • Admin Users

    • Automatically have access to Insights and to all reports in Insights.

    • Have access to the stores which they have permissions for.

    • To add/edit an Admin user's store data access, navigate to Organization Settings > Users, add or select a user, and check the stores the user has permission to access.

  • Users with Custom permissions

    • To have access to Insights, the Insights permission must be enabled.

      • Navigate to Organization > Users.

      • Add or select an existing user.

      • Enable the Insights toggle.

      • Once enabled, the user will have access to all Insights reports.

Accessing Insights

Insights is located on the main menu in GrowFlow Retail. Click on the icon to view the available reports. The sub-menu then displays the available reports. Click on a Report to view its contents.

Using Insights Reports

All Insights reports will have a filter for the Store(s) from which to view data. When applicable, there will also be a Date Range filter.

The list of stores in the Store drop-down is based on individual user permissions.

Once your selections are made (or changed), press Go.

Additional filters may be available that are report-specific, below the Date Range and Store filters.

Make the appropriate selections and press Apply on the right side of the screen.

To see which filters have been applied, mouse over the funnel (the upside-down triangle-shaped icon). The number indicates the number of filters that are applied.

Exporting Data

To export data for a specific report, click the kebab (three vertical dots) and select the appropriate data option (.CSV or .XLSX).
