At GrowFlow Retail, we understand the importance of efficiency and accuracy in fulfilling pre-orders for dispensaries. Whether you're a budtender, manager, or owner, managing orders in-store or online, our platform offers versatile tools to streamline the process and ensure a seamless experience for both employees and customers.

Creating Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are generated through various channels to accommodate different dispensary models. In stores utilizing a pharmacy model, budtenders are responsible for creating and fulfilling pre-orders. Similarly, online orders placed via GrowFlow eCommerce (GFE) or third-party menu providers are categorized as pre-orders within GrowFlow Retail (GFR).

Fulfilling Pre-Orders

To fulfill a pre-order, a budtender needs to see a list of items on the order, so they can pull them from inventory, and then add/scan the package ID to fulfill the pre-order. This can be done in two ways:

1. Viewing Orders on the Pre-Order Screen: Access the Pre-Order screen to view a comprehensive list of items included in each order. This allows you to verify the order contents before proceeding with fulfillment.

2. Using Pull Sheets: Alternatively, utilize printed pull sheets to gather items from inventory and fulfill pre-orders accurately. This method enhances efficiency and minimizes errors during the fulfillment process.

Printing Pull Sheets

Printing to Attached Printers: Easily print pull sheets to any attached printer for quick access during fulfillment.

Automatic Printing for Unfulfilled Pre-Orders: When using GrowFlow Retail native apps on Windows or iOS, pull sheets are automatically printed for all unfulfilled pre-orders. This feature streamlines operations and ensures timely fulfillment.

Individual Printing from Pre-Order Cards: Print pull sheets individually for each pre-order directly from the pre-order card, providing flexibility and control over the fulfillment process.

Setting Up Pull Sheets

To configure pull sheet settings, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings > Print and scroll to the "Pre-Order Fulfillment Pull Sheet" section.

2. Configure the desired information to be printed on the pull sheet, ensuring alignment with receipt printer settings. The Width and Margins will likely be the same as the Receipt printer settings.

3. Once settings are adjusted, save your changes to apply them effectively.

Manually Printing Pull Sheets for Pre-Orders

For manual printing of pull sheets, follow these steps:

1. Locate the desired pre-order in the Unfulfilled or Fulfilled column.

2. Click on the down arrow in the drop-down menu.

3. Select Print Pull Sheet to send the pull sheet to the designated printer.

Auto Printing Pull Sheets

To enable auto printing of pull sheets, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  • Use a GrowFlow Retail app for Windows or iOS

  • Have a receipt printer connected to the device being used

To activate auto printing, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Pre-Orders Screen.

2. Look for the printer icon in the upper right corner, which is initially white, indicating auto printing is off.

3. Click on the printer icon to turn it green, indicating auto printing is on.

When auto printing for Pull Sheets is enabled, the following behavior is expected:

  • All new pre-orders in the Unfilled state will be queued for printing.

  • Manually accepted pre-orders must be accepted before auto printing occurs.

  • GrowFlow Retail tracks printed pull sheets, ensuring only those not previously printed are auto-printed.
