How to Generate an LCB Manifest in GrowFlow Retail
The state of Washington requires all outbound cannabis transfers to be registered with the LCB. GrowFlow Retail can automatically generate and submit LCB Manifests on behalf of retailers, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
Prerequisites
You must be authenticated for Insights in GrowFlow Retail.
GrowFlow must be listed as the approved Integrator in CCRS
You must have an Org Admin, Admin, or custom permissions for reports.
A valid nine‑digit UBI number is required.
You must enable the CCRS and LCB Manifests switches in GrowFlow Retail Settings.
Instructions
1. Create an outbound transfer as usual.
2. Select the Transfer Contains MJ toggle.
3. Choose the Receiver Type, either External or Internal.
4. Select the appropriate outgoing package(s).
5. Enter departure and arrival times, along with driving directions.
6. Leave the LCB Manifest ID field blank.
7. Complete the transporter information.
8. Click Save and Continue.
Generating the Manifest
1. On the Transfer Details page, click Generate Manifest.
2. The button will turn yellow and display a spinning pinwheel while the system communicates with the LCB.
3. It can take up to an hour for the Manifest to be generated, or in some cases, more than an hour if the LCB system is backed up.
4. You can navigate away from this page during this process.
5. When the Manifest has been successfully generated, the page will be updated and the title bar will say Manifested - Automatic.
6. You can now view or print the Manifest by pressing the LCB Manifest PDF button.
Completing the Transfer
1. Now that the LCB Manifest is ready, the transfer can be initiated.
2. On the transfers page, select the transfer and click the Details button.
3. Select Mark in Transit when appropriate.
4. When the transfer is complete, return to the Details view for the transfer and select Accept and Activate.
Failed Manifest Submission
If the system cannot register the Manifest, an error message will appear. In this case, reach out to our team through the chat bubble in your GrowFlow account so we can review the issue and attempt to resubmit the manifest for you.
Generating an LCB Manifest for a completed transfer
For outbound transfers created on or after January 1, 2023, without an LCB Manifest ID, you can still generate a submission in POS. Go to Transfers, select the transfer, open Details, and click Generate Manifest at the bottom.
