When a transfer is synced from Metrc into GrowFlow Retail, if there are test results associated with the package(s) in Metrc, they will be automatically downloaded by GrowFlow and stored in the package details. The data that can be synced includes THC %, CBD %, etc.
When transferring in packages from Metrc, downloading the test results from Metrc and storing them in the package details will save you time and reduce errors.
How does it work?
In Metrc, the lab must have uploaded the actual test results data into Metrc, not just as a file attachment.
There are no user settings or actions required. It occurs automatically when GrowFlow syncs with Metrc.
For each field, if there are test results in Metrc, and no test results entered in the corresponding field in GrowFlow, the test results from Metrc will be populated into the appropriate fields for that package.
Data will NOT be populated in the POS in the following circumstances:
For each field, if there are test results in GrowFlow, but no results in that field in Metrc, the system will not import “blank” data for that field from Metrc into the package details (in other words, it won’t delete the data already in GrowFlow).
For each field, if there are test results in a field in Metrc and test results in that field in GrowFlow, the system will not import data for that field from Metrc into the package details (in other words, it won't overwrite data already in GrowFlow).
If for a given field, there are test results in Metrc and GrowFlow, it will not attempt to determine which data is newer; right or wrong.
