If you are in a Metrc-connected state, sometimes discrepancies between the Metrc quantity and the GrowFlow quantity of a package can occur. The most common reason for this is due to unreported orders (sales). Orders can fail to report for a variety of reasons such as the Metrc API being down when the sale was completed.

In the event of an unreported sale, use the steps outlined below to easily find the unreported order(s) from the package showing a discrepancy and get that order reported!

Manually Finding and Reporting Orders

All unreported orders will have a red alert icon so that they can easily be identified.

However, you may need to find a specific order via a package that has a discrepancy. Here's how to find and report those orders:

1. Navigate to the Cashier page.

2. Click on the Orders tab.

3. Click the Search Bar Dropdown and select Package ID.

4. Enter the Package ID of the package with the discrepancy into the search bar to find all the orders that contain this package.

5. Locate the order with the red alert icon and click on it to view the details.

6. From the Order Details panel, click the Report to State button to manually report this order to Metrc. If you receive an error when reporting this sale, please view the next section of the article that covers errors and how to fix them.
