Use the Lot tool to easily lot bulk harvest materials into designated package quantities with their own Metrc tags in preparation for QA testing.
There are two areas in GrowFlow to locate the Lot tool:
Option 1: From the Grow Overview, hover your cursor on a strain in the Bulk Inventory column and click the green arrow:
Option 2: From the Inventory Overview, click Lot
Both options will open the Lotting window, where lotting bulk material into bulk packages based on quantity limits applicable to QA testing in your region takes place.
Use Multi Lot Mode in Part One below to create many packages from one bulk package
Use Combine Lot Mode in Part Two of this article here to combine multiple packages of the same strain into a single package
Part One: Multi Lot Mode
1. The default setting in the Lotting tool is Multi Lot Mode, which will lot your bulk material into multiple packages of a given or max weight.
2. Select the bulk inventory type to create
Note: Material types shown depend on your jurisdiction.
3. Optionally, select a room
Lotted inventory will head into the Bulk Inventory room by default if a preferred room is not selected
4. Select a product template to use a particular template
For example, use a template such as "A Buds" or "Trim for pre-rolls", etc., to assign a specific product name for your new lots.

5. Use the search bar or the Filter tools to locate the material you are lotting
6. Set Number of Lots and Weight Per Lot
Enter Number of Lots and Weight Per Lot manually, or see step 7 to use preset calculation options
7. Preset Options
Option to click Set Max to automatically do the math for you and enter as many maximum size lots as possible from the available grams per Bulk Material line item.
Pro-Tip: Click Set Max but reduce the number of lots to what you are actually creating. GrowFlow will block you from exceeding the maximum lot size when you confirm the creation of lots.
Option to click Set Eq. to automatically evenly distribute the available grams per Bulk Material line item and enter the number of lots that can be created with equal weight.
8. Finish by clicking Create
Part Two: Combine Lot Mode
1. Select Combine Lot Mode
2. Select the bulk inventory type to create

3. (Optional) Select a room
Lotted inventory will head into the Bulk Inventory room by default if a preferred room is not selected
4. Select a product template to use a particular template
For example, use a template such as "A Buds" or "Trim for pre-rolls", etc., to assign a specific product name for your new lots.

5. Use the search bar or the Filter tools to locate the material you are lotting
6. Set Number of Lots and Weight Per Lot

7. Set Max Preset Option
Clicking Set Max will automatically enter the maximum lot size possible to make from the available Bulk Material line item.
8. Finish by clicking Create
Now, your lotted bulk packages will be available on the Inventory Overview!
