Use the workflows below if you had created a Lab Sample or Package from the incorrect Parent Package or if the weight or strain was entered incorrectly. Discontinuing a package or Lab Sample will undo the package creation and return the weight of the sample or package to the Parent aka Source Package.

To get started with ether workflow, navigate to your Active Packages in Metrc.

1. Find the package with the water drop symbol that represents the sample package.

2. Click on the ✖ to discontinue the package. This will send the package weight back to the parent package.

1. Locate the package that was incorrectly made.

2. Click on the ✖ to discontinue the package.
