A quick guide to creating and editing Users with custom permissions.

When creating User profiles for your Budtenders, GrowFlow gives you the option to customize the access each User will be granted. Below we will go through the process of creating a new User profile and the options you will have when setting custom permissions.

How to Create a User with Custom Permissions

1. Click on the Store Settings icon to the left of the screen.

2. Click on Users.

3. Click on the Green Plus (+) button in the top right corner to begin creating a new User profile.

4. Awesome! Begin adding in the required information to build the User profile for your budtender.

A. The default starting setting for a new user is always set to Active.

B. Enter a Username.

C. Create a Password and then enter it once more to confirm.

D. Enter the budtender's Full Name.

E. Enter the budtenders Email.

F. Enter a Phone Number for the budtender. This is optional.

G. Enter an Occupational License number. This is optional.

H. Create a 4-digit Pin and enter it once more to confirm.

I. Time Clock - Enable this option if you are using the GrowFlow time clock feature.

J. Is Delivery Driver - Enable this option if this User is also a delivery driver for your location. Upon enabling this option you will then need to enter a Drivers License number and select the driver's vehicle.

Custom Permission Settings

5. Select the Custom Permission option for your budtender. You will now see several permission options you can enable for this User profile.

Alerts

Enable this toggle to provide your budtender with either View Only permissions or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions for Alerts.

Customers

Enable this toggle to provide your budtender with either View Only permissions or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions for the Customers page.

Sales

Enabling the Sales toggle will open up additional options to provide more detailed permission options.

A. Returns - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to conduct returns.

B. Pre-order Fulfillment - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to work with pre-orders.

C. Voids - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to void an order.

D. Money Drops - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to make a money drop from the register.

E. Order Discounts - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to use discounts at the register.

F. Dispatch/Finalize Deliveries - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to finalize delivery orders.

G. Hold Other Open Order - Allows the budtender to place any order on hold from the Orders page, even if they are not the cashier for that order.

H. Remove Stuck Order from Register - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to remove a stuck order from a register.

Inventory

Enabling the Inventory toggle will open up additional options to provide more detailed permission options.

A. Products - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Products page. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions.

B. Product Categories - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Product Categories tab . You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions.

C. Pricing Groups - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Pricing Groups tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can create and edit pricing groups.

D. Conversions - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Conversions tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can perform conversions.

E. Adjustments - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Adjustments tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can perform adjustments.

F. Suppliers - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Suppliers tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can work with your supplier's page.

G. Packages - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Packages tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can work with packages from the Packages page.

H. Transfers - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Transfers tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can work with transfers on the Transfers page.

Reports

Enable this toggle to grant FULL ACCESS to all reports. This is an all-or-nothing option, so make sure you want to grant access to reports for your budtender before you enable this option.

Settings

Enabling the Settings toggle will open up additional options to provide more detailed permission options.

A. Users - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Users tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Users page.

B. Stores - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Stores tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Stores page.

C. Discounts -Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Discounts tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Discounts page.

D. Storage Locations - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Storages Locations tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Store Locations page.

E. Registers - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Registers tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Registers page.

F. Taxes - Enable this toggle to allow your budtender to see the Taxes tab. You can grant them View Only access or View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions so they can take action on the Taxes page.

Documents and Store Access

In the Documents section, you can upload or drag and drop documents or image files should you like to associate any with this profile.

Store Access - In this final section, please select any additional stores you would like this user to have access to. They will already be given access to the store in which the profile was created.

Once you've finished make sure to hit Save & Close.

How to Edit a Current User

1. From the Users page, select the user you want to edit and then click the Edit (pencil) icon in the top right.

2. This will pop up the User Profile where you can then edit your employee’s profile details or change their Store Access.

3. Once you have completed your edits remember to click Save & Close at the bottom of the form.
