Let's get started on the Grow Overview in your account!

1. In the Clones, Seeds column, click the top green arrow on a Room to select all Clones in that Room, or, to only select one strain of Clones at a time, hover over the strain name and click the green arrow that will appear on its line item.

2. Once selected, the Create New Plants window will appear:

A. Select a new Veg Room for the new Plants if the preferred room has not defaulted

B. Optionally, select a Table

C. Optionally, select a new Strain if a new Strain should be assigned

D. Use the Filters and/or search bar to locate any clones you are promoting

E. If promoting all Clones, select the top checkbox. If only selecting a few, individually check the line items of each Clone Batch you are promoting.

Note: Selecting the clones will automatically fill in the Qty of New Plants you are creating based on the number in the Source Qty column.

F. If you are not promoting all Clones from a particular batch, edit the Qty New Plants field to the number of Clones you are promoting.

Remaining Quantity

  • If you are destroying the remaining quantity, select a Yes reason from the Destroy Left Over Source? drop-down, then enter a Destroy Reason.

    • To destroy all Clones from a batch, enter a "0" as the Qty New Plants.

  • If you are leaving the remaining quantity as Clones, leave the Destroy option as No. Once you are finished, the remaining quantity will remain in the Clones, Seeds column on the Grow Overview.

G. Finish by clicking Create New Plants

3. You will be redirected to a list of the newly created Vegging Plants. At this point, each Plant has been given a unique ID. Click on the top Printer icon to print and tag each Plant.

Note for California Cultivators: In California, Plants in the Vegging stage are still considered Immature Plant Batches. Each Batch of up to 100 Plants will still belong to the same unique ID and your Grow Overview. See CA Metrc: Grow Stages and Moves for more details.

4. Additionally, you will see the Plants are now located in the Vegging column on the Grow Overview.

5. Note the Birth Date: Be aware that some states, like Washington, require the plant's Birth Date to be the date when the clone or seed sprouts and the plant reaches 8" in height. This typically corresponds to the date you progress the clone or seed to the Vegging stage in your account.

If the current Birth Date needs to be updated to reflect the actual Vegetative date, locate and select the plants on the Plants Overview, then click More > Modify.
