Verification is tied to the license, not to any one person. If a license has been verified, you have to be on that license's buying team. The Team page is where a license's admins manage that team: inviting people, approving join requests, changing roles, and removing members.
Before You Start
Not sure how a license gets verified, or how someone becomes Admin in the first place? See Marketplace: Buyer Account Settings and License Verification.
Note: Managing a team is available only to an Admin on a verified license. Whoever completes verification on that license first becomes the Admin. If you're not an admin, or the license isn't verified yet, you won't see the Manage Team option.
Managing Your Team
1. On the Marketplace home page, hover over the license dropdown in the top-right corner > Account Settings.
2. On the My Licenses window, click Manage Team.
Note: Manage Team only appears on a verified license you administer. An unverified license shows Verify or Select instead. A verified license where you're only a Buyer — not an admin — won't show the link.
The Team Page
Each Buyer's name, email, and Role (Admin or Buyer, changeable by dropdown), and a trash icon to remove the buyer from your Team.
Admin — Buys under the license, plus manages the team: invites, approvals, role changes, removals.
Buyer — Buys under the license. Can't manage the team.
Manage Existing Team Buyers
From the member list on the Manage Team page, admins can adjust permissions or update the roster at any time:
Change a role: Click the Role dropdown next to a member's name to switch them between Buyer and Admin.
Remove a member: Click the trash icon in the Actions column.
Note: You cannot remove or demote the last remaining Admin.
Invite a Person
Invite buyers from your Team to purchase on behalf of your license.
1. Click + Invite Person.
2. Enter their first and last name and email > Send Invite.
Approve or deny a join request
When a buyer requests to join a verified license, notification emails are sent to team admins from [email protected]. Admins can approve or deny pending requests directly from the Manage Team page.
Note: Once accepted or approved, a new member shows up on the roster right away as a Buyer, ready to buy under the license — promote them to Admin anytime after that.
What Can Go Wrong
You're the only Admin. A warning appears at the top of the Team Page — if you lose access or leave, the team can't manage itself. Promote a second admin to clear it.
Can't remove or demote someone? That's likely the last remaining Admin — promote another member first.
Invite email never arrived? Have them check spam for [email protected], or click + Invite Person again to resend.
Join request stuck? Check with another Admin — requests go to all of them. Contact support if no one can find it.
Warning: A license must always have at least one admin, so removing or demoting the last remaining admin is blocked entirely.
