For our Washington clients, you can use the manufacturer's barcodes on your cannabis products, eliminating the need to re-label with GrowFlow package IDs. This streamlines your workflow and saves you valuable time.
How it works:
1. Enable CCRS ID scanning: In your Store Settings, go to the General tab. Under the Cashier section, turn on the Allow CCRS ID Scanning in Cart option.
2. Scan at checkout: To sell a product, scan the manufacturer’s barcode with your barcode scanner. This barcode includes the CCRS ID, ensuring the correct package is matched automatically.
3. GrowFlow handles the rest: GrowFlow will automatically identify the correct package in your inventory, even if it shares a CCRS ID with other packages.
Benefits:
Save time and effort: No more re-labeling products!
Reduce waste: Minimize label usage and contribute to sustainability.
Improve accuracy: Eliminate errors associated with manual package ID entry.
Streamline your workflow: Simplify your sales process and improve efficiency.
Important Note: When a package has a CCRS ID entered as its package ID, GrowFlow will prioritize that match over any scanned CCRS ID. To avoid confusion, we recommend disabling manual package ID entry in your settings. If multiple sellable packages share the same CCRS ID, GrowFlow will display a modal at checkout so you can select the correct package using a first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) approach.
