In this article, we will go over the process of tagging your untagged inventory and uploading that inventory to the Metrc system.
Please note: It is not required to upload all of your inventory. We encourage you to review the inventory coverage report in Insights to see what product is projected to remain on hand by August 24th.
As of the writing of this article, you have until May 26th to tag any inventory that you will want to keep beyond the August 24th disposal date. Any product that remains untagged beyond the August 24th cut-off date must be disposed of. Also, you will need to have activated Metrc in your GrowFlow account before performing these steps.
Navigate to Settings.
Click Storage Locations.
Click the green "+" sign in the top-right corner to add a new Storage Location.
Name the location Untagged Inventory, and mark that location as Non-Sellable. Then click Save & Close.
Navigate to Inventory.
Select a package that you would like to tag.
Click the gear icon in the package details pane on the right side of the screen.
Click Change Storage Location, and move this package into the Untagged Inventory Storage Location.
Repeat steps 4-8 for each package you want to tag. Once all items have been moved to that location, set a filter on your Packages page for Untagged Inventory. Doing this will allow you to export a CSV document containing all of the package info you need to perform the next steps in Metrc. Click the Export icon (the cloud) to export the CSV.
Tag your untagged inventory in Metrc using the steps outlined by the OMMA. Make note of what tag corresponds to what individual product inside of the Packages export you retrieved from GrowFlow. You will need this info to connect those packages in GrowFlow to your Metrc products.

In GrowFlow (Continued)

Set the location filter to Untagged Inventory.
Select a package to update, and click the gear icon in the package details pane on the right side of the page.
Input the Metrc tag that corresponds to the product from your CSV created in the previous steps and click Save.
On the package that was just updated, click the gear icon again, and select Change Storage Location.
Move that item back into the general population (your default sellable location).
