Adding Metrc API Credentials to your GrowFlow Retail Account
This article contains detailed instructions on how to enter your Metrc API Credentials into GrowFlow once you have received your Metrc API Credentials and have completed the steps identified in the Activation Checklist.
Adding Metrc Type to Product Categories
As part of the Metrc activation process, it is required that all Product Categories that contain MJ be assigned a Metrc Type. This step should be completed after enabling the Metrc API in your account. This article contains instructions on how to add/edit Product Categories and select a Metrc Type. You may need to consult OMMA or Metrc to determine the appropriate Metrc Type for a Product Category.
Managing Transfers in Metrc and GrowFlow Retail
Once GrowFlow Retail is connected to Metrc, all transfers that are accepted by retailers in Metrc on the date of Metrc activation or later will automatically sync with GrowFlow. For example, if you activate Metrc in GrowFlow on May 10th, and you accept a transfer in Metrc on May 10th, that transfer will sync with GrowFlow.
However, there are a couple of situations that require special handling:
The transfer has been accepted in Metrc
The transfer has been manually entered into GrowFlow and the packages are in inventory
This scenario requires special handling. Click here to view the help article with instructions.
The transfer exists in Metrc but has NOT been accepted
The transfer has not been manually entered in GrowFlow
Scenario 3
The transfer exists in Metrc and has NOT been accepted
The transfer has been manually entered into GrowFlow, and you have inventory for the package.
Scenario 4
The transfer exists in Metrc (can be any status)
The transfer has not been manually entered into GrowFlow.
You have NO inventory in your store for the package because it was sold, or never received.
Do NOT take any action in Metrc or GrowFlow.
Contact OMMA and/or Metrc for instructions.
