Receipt Printers
While we do offer Receipts to be emailed to your customers, it's also a good idea to have a physical Receipt as well. This will make returns much easier since it gives you the ability to scan the receipt and look up the order.
While we do offer Receipts to be emailed to your customers, it's also a good idea to have a physical Receipt as well. This will make returns much easier since it gives you the ability to scan the receipt and look up the order.
We support and recommend:
Star TSP654II AirPrint-24 Thermal Receipt Printer: Bluetooth for Android & iOS, Wifi & Ethernet
Note: We recommend getting the network version or the USB version. If you go the network route, you could get away with just buying one printer and have each register print to it. If you go USB, you will need a printer for each register.
Barcode Scanners
Cut down on user error at the register by scanning barcodes instead of manually entering in Sku's or Product Names. This is also handy when accepting transfers and inventory management.
We support and recommend:
Socket Mobile D760 Scanner
Label Printers
Most states require that all of your product is correctly labeled. Depending on your workflow, you may need to generate product labels at your shop.
We support and recommend:
Zebra ZD 410, 2” wide
This is our most highly recommended printer, it's got some great new features and fits well with most of our customer's needs.
It is Direct Thermal only and is available in either 203 or 300 DPI
It prints 6 IPS on 203, 4 IPS on 300 DPI
The 300 DPI model offers an ethernet connection option
Available from Zebra or 3rd party sellers online
Zebra ZD 500, 4” wide
This printer is similar to the 410 but will be ideal for users needing wider labels
It is available in either 203 or 300 DPI
Offers an ethernet connection option
Available from Zebra or 3rd party sellers online
Color Printers (for branded labels)
For branded labels, higher print quality is often desired. Inkjet tends to offer great resolution while being less expensive and easier to use than other full-color printing technologies.
We support and recommend:
ColorWorks C7500 Inkjet Label Printer
Recommended for Full-Color printing
High-speed, on-demand, color printing
Key factors to consider when choosing a printer model:
Standard printers come in 2 resolution options: 203 or 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch). We recommend 300 DPI for better quality and scanning.
Most printers come with a USB connection. If you want to print on the shop floor then we recommend the ethernet version, which costs a little more but is much more flexible. Please check the compatibility of your device before purchasing!

Scales
Requirements:
Before beginning your comparison, it is important to know that there are three main requirements every dispensary scale must meet.
The scales must be certified by the National Conference of Weights and Measures or NTEP. A certification from NTEP often takes months for approval as it is tested for accuracy and reliability.
Secondly, the scale must be classified as a "Class II Balance," meaning it is legal for trade and is able to be used to sell products by weight.
Lastly, the scale must be able to weigh in increments of 0.01 grams (1/100th gram) as often times the product will weigh less than one ounce.
WARNING
Depending on your state regulations, you may need to contact them in order to have your scale certified as accurate. Please check with your State Compliance Agency to ensure compliance before opening your location. We recommend:
