While sometimes your clones or seeds do not quite make it to the next stage of growth, tracking their progress and destruction with GrowFlow is super easy. We'll walk through a few different methods to schedule Clones or Seeds for Destruction:

  • Method 1: Destroy some or all Clones or Seeds in a Batch

  • Method 2: Destroy some clones as you move the remaining batch into the Veg stage

Additionally, we'll cover the steps to take for the Final Disposal.

Method 1: Destroy an Entire Clones / Seeds Batch

1. Locate the Immature Plant Batch in the Clones, Seeds column on the Grow Overview.

  • Note: You can easily filter the Grow Overview by Strain, Room, Table, or search by the Immature Plant Batch ID to quickly locate your clones.

2. Once located, click on the Batch Name to open the Clones/Seeds/Mature Plants window.

3. Select the Batches to be destroyed.

  • Note: All batches under your selected filter will be checked. Un-check all and then choose only the batches that you want to destroy by checking the check box on each line item.

4. Once selected, click the Destroy Selected button.

5. In the Destroy window, enter the following windows and click Destroy (#) Items when finished.

  1. Reason: Choose the best fit from the drop-down options

  2. Room: Optionally, place your waste in a specific room

  3. Explanation: Give as much detail as possible here

  4. Destroy Qty: Enter the quantity to Destroy.

  • Note: If the whole Batch is to be destroyed, the Destroy Qty entered should match the Qty column. If only some of the Batch is to be destroyed, update the number of Clones you are destroying in the Destroy Qty field.

6. Once destroyed, your clones or seeds will be moved to the Waste Bin to await final destruction.

  • Note: Depending on your jurisdiction you can also view Clones and Seeds from the Inventory Overview in the Plants tab or the Grow > Plants Overview in the Batches tab. This same method can be taken on these pages by locating and selecting the clones and clicking "Destroy" to fill out the same dialogue.

Method 2: Destroy Clones During Move to Veg

1. Locate the Immature Plant Batch in the Clones, Seeds column on the Grow Overview.

  • Note: You can easily filter the Grow Overview by Strain, Room, Table, or search by the Immature Plant Batch ID to quickly locate your clones.

2. Once located, click on the green arrow to move your entire room or individual batch into the Veg column.

3. On the pop-up window, type in the number of clones or seeds that will be moving into the next stage.

4. To destroy the rest, select a Yes option in the Destroy Left Over Source? column and type in the reasoning in the box provided.

5. Click Create New Plants and the remaining clones or seeds will be moved to the Waste Bin to await final destruction.

Final Disposal

Once the Clones or Seeds have officially been destroyed, disposed of, or removed from your facility you will head into your Waste Log to officially dispose of the materials from your account.

  • Important! Once this step is taken, the Clones and Seeds cannot be brought back into your account. Double-check that you are destructing the correct items!

1. On the Grow Overview, atop the Bulk Inv. column, click Waste to open your Waste Bin.

  • Note: If you Destroyed the Clones or Seeds from the Inventory Overview, shown below is where you will access your Inventory Waste Bin.

2. Locate and select the Clones or Seeds and click Dispose Selected.

  • Note: In case any mistakes are made before Dispose Selected is clicked, you have the option to click Undo Destroy to return the materials back to your active Plants or Inventory list.

That's it!
