This article applies only to GrowFlow Retail users in New Mexico.
As New Mexico transitions from BioTrack to NMS2S, here's what you need to do to keep GrowFlow Retail connected to the state's traceability system.
Timeline
BioTrack is currently scheduled to shut down for all retailers at 12:01am on September 4th. If that timeline holds, we plan to enable the NMS2S integration overnight on September 3rd. This date is subject to change — we're monitoring updates from the state closely and will send additional communication right away if the timing shifts.
What you need to do
1. Generate your NMS2S API token(s)
Your NMS2S Organization Admin needs to log in to NMS2S and go to the "Locations" tab, which lists every license you have access to. Next to each location, click "Create Token" to generate a POS API access token.
Important: This token is shown only once. Once you close the screen after generating it, you won't be able to view it again — so copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe until you're ready to enter it into GrowFlow.
You'll need to repeat this for each location you have a GrowFlow account for.
2. Enter the token in GrowFlow
Go to Store Settings.
Scroll to the Traceability Settings subsection at the bottom of the page.
Paste your token into the NMS2S Authorization Token field.
3. Test the connection
Click Test Connection to verify the token against the state and confirm which organization and location it's tied to. Double-check that it shows the store you expect before saving.
4. Run a package sync
Once the connection is confirmed, go to Inventory > Packages in GrowFlow and click the sync button in the top-right corner. This pulls in your new NMS2S package IDs, which are separate from your existing BioTrack barcode IDs (those stay the same). This step is required before you'll be able to report any sales to NMS2S, so please don't skip it.
